Features
Everything a practice runs on. One login.
Medoc replaces the register, the prescription pad, the folder of scans and the spreadsheet of who owes what — without asking you to change how you actually see patients.
What it does
Eight things, done properly
Each of these exists because a small practice loses real time without it — not because it looked good on a roadmap.
Records
One chart per patient, not five
Identity, allergies, chronic conditions, current medicines, every past visit and every document — on one screen. Allergies sit in the critical tone because they are the one field cross-checked against everything you prescribe.
Consultation
Start from the chart, not a booking
Patients walk in; they are not booked in advance. Open the chart and start consulting. The note autosaves as you type — there is no save button to forget — and dictation writes straight into the section you choose.
Prescribing
Write it, or photograph it
Build an e-prescription from a searchable medicine list with dosage, frequency and duration — or photograph the one you wrote by hand. Either way it lands on your letterhead and in the patient's portal.
Documents
Reports where you will find them
Scans, labs and discharge summaries attach to the chart, not to a WhatsApp thread. Patients can add their own reports; they can never edit or delete one, because a report that vanishes after you have acted on it is worse than no report.
Schedule
Where you consult, and when
Your rota across every location, filtered by day, week or month. Set each clinic's hours once and the schedule follows — there is no second calendar to keep in step.
Billing
A record of money, not a way to take it
Raise an invoice from a visit and mark it settled when the cash or UPI lands. Medoc never touches the payment. Your patients pay you directly, exactly as they always have.
Analytics
Your practice as a business
Collections over time, new patients per month, returning-patient rate, and which location the work actually happens at. Enough to make a decision, not so much that you need a dashboard for the dashboard.
Portal
Free for your patients. Always.
Give a patient a login across the desk — an ID and a password, working before they leave the room — or send a one-time invite code. They see their records, their prescriptions and their invoices. They never gain edit rights over your notes.
Just as important
What Medoc will never do
A shorter list than the one above, and the one worth reading twice. These are commitments, not current limitations.
We never process a payment. No gateway, no commission, no cut of your fee.
We never sell, share or mine patient data. It is not our data to sell.
We never charge your patients. The portal is free to them, permanently.
We never lock your records in. Export them whenever you want to.
Designed for real conditions
Works on the connection you actually have
Most Indian clinics run on a phone and a patchy 4G signal, not a fibre line and a 27-inch monitor. That shaped the build.
~350 KB
A cold page load, measured — about one photo's worth of data.
Phone-first
Every screen is laid out for a 320px phone before a desktop.
No app store
It is a website. Nothing to install, nothing to update, works on any phone.
See it with your own patient list
Set up your practice in a few minutes. If you would rather be walked through it, the Ecogenius team will do that on a call.
